Ricardo Tabet : Director - Men‘s National Team

As a young Lebanese immigrant to Canada, Ricardo quickly fell in love with hockey at a young age watching the Montreal Canadiens. When he was not in school, he spent most of his time playing hockey and quickly reached high level competitive hockey from Midget AAA to Junior AAA, earning many championships and individual honors.


He is involved in the LIHF since the beginning as a player, Captain & leader. Recently, he accepted a different role by managing the Men’s team.

The Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation is proud to announce the hiring of Erin Tabah as our women's national team director.


Erin is and was part of the Women's Lebanese National Team, she played with the team at the Kuwaït and Miami tournaments. Being a mother of three young children does not prevent her from keeping an active lifestyle; if she is not on the ice, she trains for her marathons.


Her experience in the field and her passion for the sport are sure to bring the Women's National Team to the next level.

The Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation (LIHF) is proud to announce the hiring of Gregg Kennedy as our men’s National Team Head Coach and as the hockey development program coordinator.


Gregg, a resident of Ottawa, has a long resume of hockey achievements. Over the past 30 years he has been involved with coaching, players development, coach training and mentoring, Hockey Canada Seminar presenter, instructor/camp director and team management. Gregg has a resilient devotion to hockey and a desire to put our men’s hockey program at the forefront of international competition.


Aside from being an accomplished hockey coach, Gregg brings his expertise to assist our Federation as a program director, master trainer and technical advisor.


“We are thrilled to have Gregg as the new Head Coach of our men’s national program” said Charles El-Mir, President- LIHF. “We can’t wait to have Gregg hit the ice with our players and elevate the development of the program”.
